Who, what and why

Background

I started building soralle.fi mainly for my own purposes, to find routes for motorcycling that contain as much gravel as possible. 

I wasn't happy with the other services and apps, so since I had experience in building map applications and over two decades of experience in software, I decided to build this service.

I like to do long trips without much planning before the trip and I think this service serves that purpose very well. I am happy to see that many other bikers have found it useful too!

Who am I

I'm a 46-year-old software developer, motorbiker and cyclist from Jyväskylä, Central Finland.

This service I'm building under my one-man business called Ohjelmistokehitys Kärkkäinen.
